Nothing Phone (2) will debut in July with a different battery than the first model

Carl Pei, company founder Nothinggave an interview to Forbes in which he revealed some interesting details about the upcoming new smartphone viz Nothing Phone (2). Among them, Pei confirmed that the device is expected to come out in the month of July 2023, around the same time that Samsung’s new foldables will debut. Furthermore, the smartphone will experience a global launch: in fact, it will be released simultaneously both in the United States and in other countries.

Another confirmation concerns the battery, which it will have a capacity of 4,700 mAh. Compared to the previous model – which had a 4,500 mAh unit – this is a small step forward, even if not yet at the level of devices such as the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which can count on a 5,000 mAh battery, as well as the Pixel 7 Google pros. Also during the Forbes interview, Carl Pei stated that Nothing has sold about 750,000 units of its first smartphone and that there is a higher percentage of users who decide to switch from iPhone a Nothing compared to what happens for other brands.
