Dickinson’s restaurants go head-to-head in the Burger Battle

DICKINSON, ND (KMOT) – If you enjoy burgers in the summer, there might be something fun for you in Dickinson.

The first burger war for the baker boys starts in June.

Baker Boy Burger Battle – try to say that three times fast!

The bakery maker wants you not only to say it, but also to taste the special cakes.

“Go to every restaurant, try every burger, some of them are crazy combinations, not all of them are on burger buns,” says Dustin Monke, marketing manager.

Like a burger at JD’s BBQ with a frozen donut as a carrier or a Texas Hawaiian burger at Players Sports Bar and Grill.

The staff at Phat Fish Brewery decided to stick with their theme with their burger.

“Put a fatty fish name on it to have a surf-n-turf burger, we have a regular burger, we use a bun from a local bakery and then we have garlic parmesan cod on top,” said Kelly Scharf, partner.

Baker Boy Marketing Manager said customers can vote for their favorite pies using the QR code on the table tents at each restaurant or by accessing the online voting link.

The company hopes the contest will encourage people to eat local.

“It’s a great pairing with West North Dakota with Baker Boy’s buns and beef, and I know there are some restaurants here that use our beef producers as part of that, so I think it’s going to be a really good combination,” Monke said. .

And who knows, maybe one of these burger creations will be your next favorite meal.
