RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – A 6-year-old boy was shot in a Rapid City home shortly before 9 a.m. Friday morning.
According to a report by the Rapid City Police Department on social media, the child suffered a serious but non-life threatening gunshot wound. The child was taken to the hospital. Police did not say where he was shot.
The shooting happened at a home in the 100 block of East Signal Drive
Police obtained a photo of the shooting suspect as he fled the scene.
Anyone with information on the suspect’s identity or whereabouts should contact police immediately at 605-394-4131.
