It’s time once again to celebrate all things beautiful and beloved in the state of Michigan.
This is the 17th year we’ve invited amateur photographers to enter the Michigan Holiday Photo Contest. The contest will reward outstanding Michigan photos, people, places and wildlife with nine prizes worth up to $300 at the end of the summer.
The competition has three new themes for 2023, which will run concurrently from May 26 to August 24:
- Sights and views: For images of landscapes, beaches, woodlands and urban beauty.
- Hair, feathers and flora: For pictures of wild animals, domestic animals, animals and flowers
- Candid photos: Pictures of people doing things they love or need to do in Michigan.
You can enter as many times as you like, as long as you are a photographer, you are not a professional photographer, and the photo has not been selected as a Celebrate Michigan finalist in previous years. All photos must be taken within the last five years, on or after May 26, 2018. Images generated by computers or artificial intelligence are not allowed.
