Warren Buffet: Many users wouldn’t give up the iPhone even for $10,000

Billionaire Warren Buffet, the fifth richest man in the world, appeared on CNBC channel praising the tech maker Apple and claiming that the ecosystem of its products is so well designed that no one is convinced to give up their iPhone, not even for 10,000 dollars . Buffet, who holds 43.5% of his Berkshire Hathaway bank’s pledged funds in Apple stock, praised the product as “incredibly valuable” and lauded CEO Tim Cook for his outstanding management.

Despite the significant investment in Apple, Buffet has expressed doubts about the iPhone production line, particularly regarding subcontractor TSMC, which is responsible for manufacturing some components of the device. Buffet invested $4.1 billion in TSMC in November 2022, but sold 86% of his shares in the company in February 2023. This admission of error came as a surprise from the well-known investor with good market insight at long term.

Despite this, Buffet continues to increase his investment in Apple, showing his support for running Cook’s business.
