Police are investigating a Wednesday morning crash involving a Nevada trooper and a bicyclist

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – A Nevada State Police trooper was involved in a crash early Wednesday morning in the east Las Vegas Valley.

The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. near Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road.

According to a state police public information officer, a trooper and a bicyclist collided.

At present, it is not known how this incident happened.

Nevada State Police said the Las Vegas Police Department is investigating the crash.
