CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Press)- Wyoming head women’s basketball coach Heather Ezell is pleased to announce a pair of student-athletes who will be joining the Cowgirls next season. Both are familiar faces to fans at Wyoming as McKinley Bradshaw and Jocelyn Igoe will wear the Brown and Gold in 2023-24.
Bradshaw, a 2022 All-Mountain West selection, returns to the Cowgirls after spending the 2022-23 season on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In his final season with UW, Bradshaw averaged nearly 15 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Bradshaw scored in double figures 21 times in 2021-22 and had seven 20-plus point contests, including a pair of 30-plus points. Bradshaw is 19th in program history with 101 3-pointers made, while his 37.4 percent shooting from beyond the arc is 11th all-time.
Douglas native Jocelyn Igoe spent the past two seasons at Casper College. Igo appeared in 65 career games with the T-Birds and averaged 9.8 points per game on 35 percent shooting from 3-point range. Last season, Igo led Casper with 12.1 points, 3.3 rebounds and a pair of assists per game. Igo shot 38 percent from deep and 81 percent from the free throw line. Igo helped lead the T-Birds to a 58-9 overall record in two seasons, a pair of Region IX titles and two appearances in the NJCAA Championship Tournament.
Bradshaw and Igoe join a quartet of newcomers who will play against Wyoming this fall in Meekin Hamlin (Hugoton, Kan.), Maren McKenna (Hyde Park, Utah), Katie Ollilainen (Helsinki, Finland) and Madison Simons (Coeur d’Alene, Idaho ).
