SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – On this week’s statewide issues, we look at the fourth and possibly final meeting of the Board of Education Standards before they vote on the proposed social studies standards.

Cooper Siemer sits down with the two members of the commission that developed the standards and looks at the sorry form teachers face before Monday’s meeting in Pierre.

Governor Noem signs an executive order that he says protects South Dakota’s Second Amendment rights. It comes in heels new vote from SDSU, shows that Gov. Noem is the most popular presidential candidate among South Dakota Republicans. SDSU also released a survey that suggests the former President Trump is losing popularity in South Dakota.
