A man faces charges after allegedly pointing a gun at a woman at a temple

TEMPLE, TX (KWTX) – Cesar Jeremiah Burleson, 20, of Temple, was arrested after a woman told police he pointed a gun at her head during a fight, Temple City spokeswoman Noheli Mackowiak confirmed to KWTX.

The incident happened shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 16, in the 1700 block of East 1st Avenue. Police officers were dispatched to the location to investigate a report of a gunfight.

When officers arrived, they found a woman who said a man had pointed a gun at her. Police said a witness at the scene corroborated the victim’s allegations.

Officers arrested Burleson and “identified the victim as a man with a gun,” police said.

Burleson was arrested and taken to the Bell County Jail. Online jail records do not yet show charges or bond amounts.
