WhatsApp working on the implementation of audio chats

The developers of WhatsApp they are working on implementing one new feature dedicated to the version of the app for Android devices. In particular, in the beta version 2.23.7.12 the WABetaInfo team has discovered a new feature called audio chat and which will be available within the chat through a future update.

Getting to the heart of the news, in the chat header a new waveform icon will be added which will allow users to start the audio chat right away. The screenshot also reveals a red button that will be used to end calls in progress and, among other things, there seems to be an additional space available. In this regard, it is assumed that this space may be reserved for displaying audio waveforms while browsing between the various chats. This feature, of which all the details are not yet known, is under development: therefore, it is assumed that it will be released to users through a future update.

Meanwhile, recently WhatsApp for Windows has been updated. Several innovations contained in the latest version, starting from software speedwhich should respond more quickly to users.

Also, from now on customers will be able to make video calls or audio-only calls with a maximum of 8 people and 32 people respectively. Finally, for the Android and iOS beta versions, we are working on the inauguration of the WhatsApp official chat: here it will be possible to receive information on the latest updates and features of the well-known messaging app.
