HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Hawaii Electric Company crews are replacing a utility pole transformer on Sheridan Street in Honolulu on Monday.
This will force the southbound right lane on Sheridan between Elm and Rycroft streets and the opposite northbound lane to be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Street parking will be restricted on both sides of Sheridan behind McDonald’s and the HMSA building. However, the highways do not affect the business of the area.
HECO’s safety measures are expected to include traffic cones and signs to warn drivers.
Honolulu Police and flagmen will also be on hand to control traffic and direct drivers to the remaining oncoming lanes that remain open.
