Tipton Co. man charged with sexual exploitation of minors

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Tipton County Sheriff’s Office has arrested and charged a man with sexual exploitation of minors.

Lloyd Craig, 49, of Brighton, Tennessee, was charged with two counts of sexual exploitation and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

On March 16, deputies were dispatched to a residence on Old Memphis Road in reference to a sexual assault complaint.

When deputies arrived, the complainant told them that her child and a juvenile relative had been sexually assaulted.

Detectives and the Department of Children’s Services (DCS) were able to conduct further investigations.

Deputies learned the children were at a home on Munford Guilt Edge Road where Craig lived.

On the morning of March 16, Craig gave the children alcohol and unknown drugs.

Throughout the night, Craig touched both children inappropriately and tried to get them to have sex with each other.

Both of them refused and at the same time one of them tied his hands and stopped him.

Craig is currently being held on $40,000 bail and is expected to appear in court on March 27.
