The East, Central, and Nebraska girls are winning against big schools

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (Wyoming News Now) – With the weather making the opening weekend of Wyoming football a bit hectic, two Cheyenne schools kept things positive on the field. Both East and Central had an out-of-state tournament on Saturday, both winning.

Central girls managed to score 9 balls in their game against Gering. Four of them came in the first half, five more came later. That makes it a 2-0 start to the year for Lady India.

East also hosted a Nebraska opponent in the form of Scottsbluff. After a 10-0 streak to start the year, the Lady T-Birds added to their goal tally with a 4-1 win. They are also off to a 2-0 start to their season.
