KYMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) – Straight back for Yuma veterans The 7th Annual Veterans Charity Golf Tournament was held on Saturday.
Beginning at 8:00 a.m., the event took place at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Club located in the foothills.

While the event started in 2014, it is one of the events that was briefly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We only missed one year due to COVID and then we went to lunch instead of lunch. So we were really lucky to only miss one year,” said Judy Smith, CEO of Right Turn for Yuma Veterans.
The organization also held a raffle to see who would receive a $25.00 gift card to Pint House as well as a $60.00 gift card to Da Boyz Pizza. Not only that, they held a 50/50 contest where the person who submits their winning tickets will receive half of what is matched on the turn according to the charity.
Later this year, Right Turn, in partnership with Trax International, will host another golf tournament on May 6, while they will host a bowling tournament in August.
