State troopers perform traffic stops and deliver DoorDash meals

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (COLLEN) – Nebraska state troopers made an unexpected stop in Scottsbluff and delivered some DoorDash meals.

According to a tweet from the Nebraska State Patrol, a few nights ago Troopers Dusatko and Sporer conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the driver of the vehicle had a revoked license. Troopers also determined the driver was in the process of delivering DoorDash orders to people in Gering.

Troopers Dusatko and Sporer decide to take it over and execute the two remaining driver commands, with Trooper Sporer handling the suspended driver and Trooper Dusatko executing the commands.

An unnamed DoorDash customer said: “I want to thank the state trooper who went off duty tonight after a traffic stop and delivered my DoorDash order. You are truly an amazing person and I appreciate your service. I really appreciate it.”
