St. Louis brothers are accused of murdering a man who argued with his grandfather

ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Two brothers have been charged with murdering a man who had an argument with their grandfather last year.

Devin Griffin-Curry, 17, and Davon Griffin-Curry, 18, have each been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action by the St. Louis County District Attorney in connection with the July 12, 2022, shooting death of the 35-year-old. – Ricky Latany Sr.

Charging documents say the brothers killed Lathan in the 2500 block of Semple Avenue after an argument with his grandfather. It is said that Lathan was not armed at the time.

Investigators said that the doorbell camera of the suspects showed that after the shooting, they entered their home with weapons. According to the police, the brothers were also identified as suspects by witnesses.
