OPPO Find N2 Flip passes by DxOMark: the camera is good, but it’s not its strong point

The market for smartphone pieghevoli is still dominated by Samsung and its Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4, but slowly other manufacturers are also launching their own foldable devices: among these, it certainly stands out OPPO and his very interesting Find N2 Flip, perhaps the first real one competitor di Galaxy Z Flip 4.

OPPO Find N2 Flip also passed through the hands of DxOMarkwho put the photographic sector of the smartphone under the magnifying glass: as it was legitimate to expect, the strong point of OPPO Find N2 Flip is certainly not the camera, but still the latter defends itself really well.

These are the technical specifications of the photographic sector of the smartphone:

  • Primary sensor: 50 MP, 23mm equivalent, f/1.8 aperture, PDAF
  • Ultra-wide sensor: 8MP, 112˚ FOV, f/2.2 aperture

OPPO Find N2 Flip scored well 114 points: these are not many in an absolute sense, but they still indicate a good quality camera. The smartphone is placed, in the standings, among Xiaomi 12 (with 113 points) e Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (with 115 points).

The score is divided as follows:

  • Photos and videos taken in bright light conditions (≥1000 lux): 134 points (the maximum was 168 points)
  • Photos and videos taken in good lighting conditions (≥100 lux): 116 points (the maximum was 157 points)
  • Photos and videos taken in low light conditions (<100 lux): 78 points (the maximum was 127 points)
  • Portrait mode photos or group photos: 123 points (the maximum was 143 points)

Among the positive features of the OPPO Find N2 Flip cameras we mention one good exposurelow noise levels in videos, a fairly large depth of field and afast video autofocus. Among the negative sides instead we find exposure not always correctespecially indoors and in low light conditions, sometimes inaccurate white balance and inaccurate colors in some lighting conditions.
