MPD: 2 seriously injured after school bus crash in South Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Two people were seriously injured after a school bus crashed Monday evening.

Memphis Police say at 4:46 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at East Mallory Avenue and Prospect Street.

A school bus and an Infiniti were involved.

Police say there were no passengers on the bus at the time of the accident.

Two victims were transferred to the regional hospital in serious condition.

It is not yet known which car the victims occupied and who is the culprit.

This investigation is ongoing.
