ABERDEEN, MISS.WTVA/WLBT ) – A grand jury in Mississippi has indicted four daycare workers after their viral arrests last year.
Monroe County Sheriff Kevin Crook confirmed that Sierra McCandless, Okie-Anna Kilburn, Jennifer Newman and Cheyenne Shelton will not face criminal charges.
However, they still face misdemeanor charges.
Deputies arrested them in October after the videos surfaced online One involved using a Halloween mask to intentionally scare young children at Lil’ Blessings Daycare in Hamilton, Mississippi.
Each suspect was originally charged with three counts of child abuse.
The fifth suspect was also arrested. Investigators charged Tracy Hutson with failure to report simple assault and simple assault on a minor, both misdemeanors.
