Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott legally change son’s name to Aire

Brand new nickname! Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have begun the process of legally renaming their son, Us Weekly I can confirm.

Parents have filed a petition to legally change their 13-month-old son’s name from Wolf to Aire, according to documents obtained by Us on Thursday, March 16.

The The Kardashians star, 25, welcomed her second child with rapper “Sicko Mode,” 31, in February 2022. At the time of the arrival of baby no. 2, the duo — who dated for years before calling it quits for good in January — didn’t have a name picked out for their little one. (The new couple are already parents to 5-year-old daughter Stormi.)

However, the duo eventually settled on the name Wolf Jacques Webster, which is the name on his birth certificate. A month after bringing her little one home, Jenner revealed she’s changed her mind about his nickname.

“FYI, our son’s name is no longer Wolf,” the Kylie Cosmetics founder wrote on her Instagram Story in March 2022. “We just didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere.”

At the time, neither the beauty mogul nor Scott revealed their new baby’s new name. During season 2 of The KardashiansJenner has shed some light on the confusion over what to name her son.

“We really didn’t have a name. We thought he would come to us when we saw him, but he didn’t. Then 24 hours before we had to sign the birth certificate – otherwise they write it without a name – so I felt pressured to choose a name. Khloé [Kardashian] he suggested that Wolf and I liked WW,” she said at the time. “So we put Wolf Webster in that moment and right after I signed the birth certificate I was like, ‘What did I just do?

It was only in January that the reality star revealed her little one’s nickname and the first glimpse of his face.

“AIRE,” she captioned several photos of her little one’s face, seemingly revealing his name nearly a year after his birth.

Two weeks before the couple announced her son’s official title, Us confirmed that they had split after spending the holidays apart.

“Kylie and Travis are back on the road, they were supposed to spend the holidays together, but she went to Aspen to be with her family and friends up there,” a source exclusively said Us at the moment of ignition and re-ignition of steam. “This has happened so many times before, they’ve been known to be involved again, but they always remain friends and great parents.”

A month later, another insider revealed that the two ending their romance may be for good this time.
