St. Patrick’s Community and Bend River Foodbank are teaming up to fight hunger in the Quad Cities. The River Bend Foodbank marched before the Grand Parade by collecting monetary donations with the goal of ending the food shortage in the community by 2025.

In addition, CASI’s 41st annual St. Patrick’s Day Race took place before the parade, according to Laura Kopp, president and CEO of Center for Active Seniors Inc., in downtown Davenport. This event is CASI’s largest fundraiser.
