ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Missouri State Police are responding to false reports of a school shooting Monday.
News 4 has learned of several local high schools and three other schools across the state that have been targeted by false reports of school shootings. Either way, the school district or the police were quick to inform the public that the calls were unfounded.
The Parkway School District reported that there were “911 reports of safety concerns at several high schools” that were found to be false. Unprovoked calls were also made to Wright City High School and Rosaty-Cain High School.
A police source told News 4 that all the calls came from the same phone number.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
