HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – The lineup for the 2023 Panoply Arts Festival was announced Thursday, with more than 30 bands and musicians expected to play at this year’s festival.
Arts Huntsville has released its full list of activities and events as it celebrates the 41st anniversary of the Panoply Arts Festival this year. The festival will be held April 28-30 at Big Spring Park.
The festival has two stages for the audience to see the performances of bands and musicians. The Wanda Band will be on the Showcase stage on Friday, April 28, to kick off the event. Gates open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, with bands and musicians performing on the Showcase Stage such as Trick Zipper Trio, Rob Aldridge and the Proponents, and many more.
The Indie Stage will be where singer/songwriters, duos and instrumentalists from Huntsville will perform throughout the festival.
The 2023 Panoply poster artist is Denise Onvere. Onvere is an artist and art teacher at Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment. She is the daughter of Jeff Clayton of The Clayton Brothers. Visitors will be able to purchase original Onwere paintings at the festival, and a limited number of signed posters will be available for purchase.
“We knew when we asked Denise to create her poster artwork for Panoply 2023 that she would capture the energy and excitement of Huntsville’s arts, entertainment and music scene,” said Huntsville Arts Executive Director Allison Dillon-Jauken in a statement. statement “Denise’s Celebration of Panoply highlights the highlights of the festival setting at Big Spring Park. It celebrates the art, music and entertainment that visitors of all ages have dynamically experienced at Panoply for more than four decades.
Food will be available from 13 local food trucks at the festival, and the craft beer and wine tent will be in a central location this year. Craft beer from Straight to Ale and Yellowhammer will be featured.
On Friday and Saturday nights, the festival ends with fireworks.
Weekend tickets will be available online in advance of the festival for $18. Weekend tickets can only be purchased until 16:00 on April 28. Day tickets are available in advance online for $10 until 4pm on April 28.
Day tickets for $15 can be purchased online and at the festival’s ticket booths after 4pm on April 28. Children 12 and under get in free. Click here to buy tickets Here.
