MINOT, ND (KMOT) – The North Minot High School coaching staff is almost complete.
Minot Public Schools Director of Activities Mitch Lunde announced the hiring of Jordan Boehm as the Sentinels’ boys tennis coach this week.
“It will be interesting to see what happens when we split the team in two. We hope it gives those other students a chance to reach the top,” Boehm said.
Boehm set records on the Mandan High School tennis team and currently teaches music at Memorial High School in Minot.
“(In the past,) we’ve really only had enough players to have a strong team, but I think there’s enough talent and enough people there that we can try to stay dominant,” Boehm said. .
North Minot’s tennis team competes at the junior varsity level in the fall.
Boehm will be an assistant coach for the Sentinels tennis team next spring.
