A bridge inspection will close lanes on I-40 under I-240

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) police enforcement crews are closing I-40 eastbound and westbound at I-240.

I-40 eastbound to I-240 southbound.

Westbound I-40 traffic will be diverted to southbound I-240 north of Jackson Avenue, where the on-ramp to southbound I-240 begins.

The inspection is expected to take place on Sunday morning from 6 am to 2 pm
