HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A cottage behind a Nanakuli home was damaged in a three-alarm fire Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities say they arrived at the scene at a residence on Keulana Avenue near Nanakuli Beach Park around 5:30 p.m.
HFD extinguished the fire within 30 minutes.
HFD says there was a covered vehicle next to the residence that contained a boat and various other vehicles that were damaged by the fire.
Officials say that there was no one in the building during the fire, and there were no reports of injuries.
The American Red Cross was requested to provide support and assistance to a single displaced elderly woman.
Officials say the cause and damage estimates are still being determined.
