LINCOLN, Neb. (COLOGNE) – Temperatures are above average this weekend thanks to a warm front on Friday! On top of the “warmer” temperatures it will be a dry and calm weekend and may be good for spending some time outside.
A pleasant Saturday will be organized throughout the 1011 region. We will have seasonably warm temperatures and a mix of sun and clouds (partly to mostly sunny). High temperatures will be in the 30s to 40s, with some areas in the south-east in the low 50s. Light winds around 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

A slight breeze will follow us overnight, but the sky will be generally clear with some light mist in some areas. Lows will be much “softer” and only drop into the low 20s.

A warmer and sunny day will arrive in the second half of the weekend. We have sunny skies and a chance of morning mist. Highs will drop into the low 30s to low 50s (a few other areas in the southeast will reach 50 degrees). Winds will remain at 10-15 mph.

The trend of above average temperatures will continue throughout the 7-day forecast. However, temperatures will drop into the low 40s by Tuesday and remain there until the end of the week. A slight chance of precipitation is possible Monday through Friday as several frontal systems move through the region.
