U2’s promotion during the Super Bowl promotes a show at the new MSG Sphere in the fall of 2023

Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – During the broadcast of Super Bowl LVII, U2 aired a new ad confirming the band’s concert this fall at the MSG Sphere.

The 15-second ad shows a giant sphere hovering over the city, eventually ending up on the Las Vegas Strip. The Sphere describes the spherical location that should open in September.

“The Sphere is more than just a venue, it’s a gallery, and U2’s music is all over the walls,” said the rock band member.

The announcement comes with confirmation that Larry Mullen Jr. will take time off to undergo and recover from surgery in 2023.

The shows will see Larry and the welcoming band drummer Bram van den Bergh take to the MSG Sphere stage to join Bono, The Edge and Adam Clayton.
