The Supreme Court in Oahu charges a 29-year-old man with sex trafficking and kidnapping

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – An Oahu grand jury on Tuesday indicted a 29-year-old man on sex trafficking charges.

In addition to sex trafficking, Manuel Thomas is also charged with third-degree kidnapping and trafficking in dangerous drugs, according to the state Attorney General’s Office.

Thomas was being held without bail at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.

Authorities have not disclosed more details of this case.

Sex trafficking and kidnapping are Class A felonies punishable by up to 20 years in prison, while trafficking in dangerous drugs is a Class C felony punishable by up to 5 years in prison.
