The Magic City Discovery Center will open as soon as possible, says the executive director

MINOT, ND (KMOT) – The Magic City Discovery Center won’t be opening this month, but management said they still plan to hold their grand opening this spring.

Wendy Keller, the executive director, said that they have to work until their custom exhibits.

He said they are testing to make sure everything is safe for guests.

The showrooms are almost finished, but supply chain disruptions are causing several months of delays.

“It is under our control. It’s kind of a sign of the times, so I told people I promise it’s worth the wait,” Keller said.

This children’s science museum joins a couple others already in North Dakota.

Memberships are already on sale and your News Leader will update you when the center is ready to open.
