The 730th Composite Support Company of the Tennessee National Guard is located

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – On Monday, February 6, more than 200 soldiers from the 730th Composite Support Company of the Tennessee National Guard deployed.

The 730th in Memphis is a unit made up of specially trained Guardsmen in various logistics. They also trained as supply specialists who provide combat units with food, fuel and supplies.

“Our Soldiers are ready to provide supplies throughout the Middle East,” said Capt. Ciarra Wrench, commander of the 730th Composite Supply Company. “We are well trained, prepared for the mission ahead and ready to ensure success.”

The 730th has been preparing for this deployment for the past year. Most of their training took place at both the Memphis Armory and a number of National Guard training sites across the state.

The unit will initially deploy to Kuwait and then send teams to Middle Eastern countries to support other deployed military units.
