Suspect in custody after standoff in northeast Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (COLOGNE) – Authorities have arrested a man after a suspect barricaded himself inside a home in northeast Lincoln.

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office said the incident was safely resolved and no injuries were reported.

Crews were dispatched to the home near 58th and Holdrege Wednesday morning.

In a tweet, the LSO said the man had threatened violence in response to an arrest warrant.

People who live and work in the area have been asked to follow officers’ instructions and stay indoors if possible.
