SF Fire Rescue is responding to a structure fire Sunday

SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – Sioux Falls Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire around 11 a.m. Sunday in downtown Sioux Falls.

The workers who came here saw heavy smoke coming from the lower level of the three-story residential building. Multiple residents on the first and second floors were evacuated.

The fire was located and extinguished within ten minutes. Water was pumped into the vehicles, but firefighters were able to access a nearby fire hydrant that was properly cleaned.

No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation.
