Mr. Thanksgiving was selected as the Grand Parade of the Society of St. Patrick XXXVII Marshall

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Mr. Thanksgiving, Bob Vogelbaugh has been selected as the grand marshal of the XXXVII St. Patrick’s Day Society Grand Parade.

2023 will be the 53rd Thanksgiving dinner Vogelbaugh has hosted for the Quad Cities area.

The parade will be held on March 18.

The day begins with Mass at St. Mary’s in Rock Island at 10 a.m., followed by the Grand St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of 4th Avenue and 23rd Street in Rock Island. The parade goes through downtown Rock Island and then over the Centennial Bridge and then through downtown Davenport. A post-parade ceremony will be held at the River Center.
