ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – The weather turned hot during Purina’s Mardi Gras pet parade in Suard.
The parade is always one of the most popular events of the Mardi Gras season, and that was certainly true this year.
Thousands of pets and their owners showed off their best outfits as they paraded through the streets of Soulard.
This is the parade’s 30th year, and organizers said it’s more than just fun.
Funds raised from the event will go to the Open Air Sanctuary, a no-kill shelter in Jefferson County.
