MANDAN, ND (KFYR) – Police arrested a Mandan man Friday after they say he conned minors online.
Prosecutors say Kavan LaValley, 27, sent a message on Facebook to a girl he believed to be 14 years old. They say he sent inappropriate sexual images and messages and planned to meet the girl in May 2022. Court documents say he was actually communicating with an undercover officer.
LaVallie is charged with felony B count of solicitation of minors via computer. He is being held on a $3,000 bond.
