Lincoln firefighters rescue one person from truck that rolled onto its side

LINCOLN, Neb. (COLON) -Lincoln Police responded to a crash near 56th and Vine streets on Monday at 12:20 p.m.

According to the reporter who was at the scene, at least two cars were involved in the accident. A car, a white Dodge Ram, pulled up next to him. Lincoln Fire and Rescue had to cut the roof off the truck to save one person in the vehicle.

According to LPD, a Subaru was traveling southbound on 56th Street and a pickup truck was traveling westbound on Vine Street when they collided. It is not clear who is to blame.

Both cars had only one passenger. Both were taken to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries
