Las Vegas, Nev. (FOX5) – Many Las Vegas sports bettors took to Twitter to express their frustration after the William Hill app malfunctioned on Monday.
People across the Valley were greeted with an error message when they tried to open the William Hill app on Sunday. The issue continued into Monday, with one Twitter user writing, “This should never have happened this long.”
The company provided updates on Twitter overnight to advise sportsbooks that they were “aware of an issue affecting users in NV”.
At around 8:06pm on Sunday, William Hill tweeted that he was “currently in the process of settling all Super Bowl bets.”
Unfortunately, as of Monday afternoon, users were still unable to access the app.
William Hill issued an update around 10:34 a.m. Monday that “its team is working hard to restore full functionality of the William Hill Nevada app.”
FOX5 reached out to William Hill, but has not yet heard back from the company.
