KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) – The Killeen Independent School District Board of Supervisors has voted to extend Superintendent Dr. John Craft’s contract through 2027.
Dr. Craft was hired as the Deputy Superintendent of Killeen ISD in 2012.
He attended the University of North Texas at Denton, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Dr. Craft then pursued his doctoral studies in Educational Administration at Tarleton State University.
A spokesperson for the Killeen district told KWTX that Dr. Craft is committed to providing a safe learning environment and educational services to meet the individual needs of all students.
The Temple native has also overseen innovative course offerings to ensure students are future-ready, the district adds.
