HB 1080 Clears Senate; Defining the abortion exception

SIOUX FALLS, SD (Dakota News Now) – On state issues this week, HB 1080 clears the Senate and heads to Governor Noem’s desk, despite two failed attempts to add amendments to allow puberty blockers and provide counseling.

State reporter Austin Goss breaks down the votes behind the bill, as well as the breakdown of eminent domain bills and Gov. Noem’s presence in the legislative session.
