Decatur, Ala. (WAFF) – Decatur Police Department officers arrested and charged a woman with domestic violence after responding to a shooting Monday.
Markita Gary, 28, allegedly shot a victim on Blackberry Drive SW, according to a police department spokeswoman. Officers found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
Gary was charged with first-degree domestic violence and taken to the Morgan County Detention Center and held in lieu of $45,000 bail.
