Chiefs QB Mahomes and coach Reid hold press conference after Super Bowl win

PHOENIX, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) – The Kansas City Chiefs are still celebrating their Super Bowl LVII victory.

On Sunday, the Chiefs won their second NFL title in four years with a thrilling 38-35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.

By Monday, head coach Andy Reid and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes were enjoying the win.

“It never gets old standing here, it’s a great National Football League tribute to the Kansas City Chiefs. That game last night was an amazing game. I know Philly is hanging his head a little bit, but nobody in really missed it, those were two great teams playing together and two great cities. I loved my time there and I loved my time in Kansas City. The people were amazing. The organization that Clark Hunt put together was great. The staff the coaches, the players we’ve got Pat Mahomes here who will talk to you. Amazing leadership in the front office with Mark Donovan Brett Veach. It’s a good solid organization with healthy people,” Reed said.

Mahomes shared the same sentiment: “It’s been quite a run since we started at OTAs in Dallas, Texas, and then we went to Kansas City to St. Joe’s, and here we got the AZ man to win the Super Bowl. I just I want to say thank you. My coaches, Reid, and all the coaches that have helped me be who I am. The Chiefs organization and my family support me every day. It’s been an amazing run the last five or six years, and let’s keep it moving.”
