Apple’s new iMac will arrive in 2024

The new iMac with updated Apple Silicon processor could arrive on the market no earlier than next year; to bring it back, a new report by Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

In fact, in his newsletter “Power On”, the journalist reiterated that the company intends to skip the M2 generation for its All in One desktop computer. We’ll probably have to wait for the iMac with M3 for a later iteration.

iMac (2024): everything we know

In this regard, the Bloomberg journalist wrote:

“I haven’t seen anything that indicates there will be a new iMac until the generation of the M3 chip, which won’t arrive until later this year or next year. So if you want to stick with the iMac, you’ll just have to take it easy.”

The design could remain unchanged, but under the body it could receive a big update; the new Apple Silicon M3 processor could in fact be built on TSMC’s 3-nanometer architectural node. Nevertheless, this solution should also be installed on an even more powerful new generation MacBook Air. Just for comparison, the Air (2022) has the M2 made on the 5 nanometer structure.

Recall that the latest (and only) iteration of the next-gen iMac arrived in the spring of 2021; the device has a super slim design, is available in seven colors and is the only one in its category; there is no model with a 27″ screen. We only have one product with a 24″ panel. There are no longer even iMacs with Intel SoCs on the list.

By the way, if you are looking for the 24″ iMac with M1, know that it is super discounted on Amazon a 1469,00€ with free shipping costs. It’s a great price for an exceptional, versatile, powerful product, designed for study as well as for work. Hurry if you are interested; it could be stolen.
