HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A new TSA checkpoint will open next week at Terminal 1 of Daniel K. Inoue opens.
The city said the new four-lane crossing will open on Saturday, February 18.
It is located at the end of Terminal 1 in Lobby 3.
A blessing for the new crossing will be held on Friday morning at 9 o’clock
The TSA pre-screening area has now been relocated to the future location of the new checkpoint.
The old point will be out of business until noon on Monday. Officials said it will be an exit only for anyone leaving the decontamination area of Terminal 1, and additional bathrooms are being built.
