MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Interstate 55 near the Shelby Drive exit.
According to an MPD dispatch, officers responded to the shooting at 1:05 a.m. Monday.
One person was taken to Regional Hospital, Memphis Fire Department dispatch said.
The southbound lanes were closed, causing delays for motorists.
