Las Vegas, Nev. (CNN, KYMA/KECY) – If you’re a Halloween fan, then you don’t have to wait until October.
In detail, Universal Studios is bringing a new horror experience to Las Vegas.
The entertainment capital of the world 365 days a year at Universal Studios will be the first permanent horror experience.
The company made the announcement on Wednesday; they are opening this new attraction at the 15th Square entertainment area near Rancho Drive.
The general idea is to take the very popular Halloween Horror Festival, which is open seasonally at theme parks in Southern California and Florida, and make it one year in downtown Las Vegas.
Alyssa Wuhatch says that’s exactly what horror fans need in Las Vegas.
“I’ve never heard of any haunted houses or haunted attractions or anything; [this] surprised me because it is a big city. “
A great victory
The entertainment area will be 110,000 square meters and will be added to the 15th expansion of 20 acres.
Universal says they’ll be offering constantly updated experiences with dining options, but once the sun goes down, they’ll be haunted.
Financial analyst Jason Baucom says that a company like Universal Studios has a large branch in Las Vegas.
“It can allow people to spend more money and have new adventures here. When they have a new adventure, they can come back.”
This is the goal
Las Vegas City Councilwoman Olivia Diaz says that’s the goal.
He applauds the idea of involving other people; this joins other options such as the seasonal Dome inside the Circus Circus and the Haunted Museum.
However, Diaz shared this exciting news with all the residents of Las Vegas.
“With economic growth and great companies like Universal Studios, we have great job opportunities for our residents.”
The foundation of the land will take place in the next six months.
