Scottsdale, Ariz. (AP) – One person has been arrested in connection with four shootings in Scottsdale that damaged at least two luxury vehicles this month, authorities said.
Scottsdale police said Bradley Holmes, 55, was taken into custody Friday night and faces charges of arson and possession of a weapon and explosives.
It was unclear Sunday if Holmes still had an attorney to speak on his behalf.
Police officials said at a press conference on Saturday that the motive for the incident has not yet been determined and that their investigation is ongoing.
They said officers saw a man, later identified as Holmes, allegedly preparing three bottles of glass for burning accelerant in a parking garage.
Police said items similar to those previously used in Molotov cocktail incidents over a three-week period were later found at a residence linked to Holmes.
Molotov cocktails were reportedly thrown at luxury cars on January 7 and a week later, according to police.
They said that in another incident on January 17, an unknown car was slightly damaged, and four nights later, a Molotov cocktail was thrown into the parking lot.
