“I’m holding on by a thread. I know I’m so close to it not happening, but while it’s still like that, I’ll protect it to the ends of the Earth as long as I can. My children don’t know anything,” she continued. “So at school, some of my best friends are teachers, so I know what’s going on at recess and lunch. I hear what they’re talking about.”
The reality star recalled the attempts she continues to make to protect their four children from West’s controversial social media comment.
“I’m holding on by a thread. I know I’m so close to it not happening, but while it’s still like that, I’ll protect it to the ends of the Earth as long as I can. My kids don’t know anything,” Kardashian explained. “So at school, some of my best friends are teachers, so I know what’s going on at recess and lunch. I hear what they’re talking about.”
Kardashian added: “Parenting is really freaking hard. I had the best dad and the best experiences, and that’s all I want for my kids… If they don’t know what’s going on, why would I ever bring that energy to them? It’s a real, hard, grown-up thing that they’re not ready to deal with. When they are, we will have those conversations. One day my kids will thank me for not sitting her and beating their dad. I could.”
