Isabel Bloom celebrates her 60th birthday

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) – Isabel Bloom offers handmade sculptures for all of life’s moments, and this year marks Isabel Bloom’s 60th year in business. To celebrate, the company plans to host a series of events throughout the year to honor the milestone.

February is Isabel’s birthday month, and event organizers Isabel Bloom say to kick off the celebration, the company is holding a four-day event from February 17 to February 20, during regular store hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Isabel. Bloom Travel Center and Showroom, 736 Federal Street Suite 2100, with door prizes and special promotions, plus free shipping and see the new 2023 design.

Event organizers say the event will be held during regular store hours so customers can register to win daily giveaways and enter to win a $60 Isabel Bloom.

The Quad City Chamber will host a short ceremony at 10 a.m. Feb. 17 to present the company with a special plaque, followed by a free behind-the-scenes tour of the production, according to a media release from organizers Isabel Bloom. .

On Feb. 20, birthday cake will be served throughout the day to celebrate what would have been Isabelle’s 115th birthday, Isabel Bloom organizers said.

In addition, the February 2023 event will feature a limited edition Owl, event organizers said.

“Eyes were one of Isabel’s favorite sculpting subjects, perhaps because their large eyes and feathers gave Isabel so much room for styling,” said Donna Young, co-owner and illustrator of Isabel Bloom. “My design was inspired by Isabelle’s Night Hunt, which is no longer with us.”
