And the hottest spot in town for celebrity sightings is The Hideaway, an upscale Mexican steakhouse in the heart of Beverly Hills.
Backed by a team of high profile investors including Ryan Phillippe and Evan RossThe Hideaway has attracted some of the biggest stars in the industry. Tucked behind luxury designer storefronts on Rodeo Drive is this underground oasis serving delicious food and drinks. The Hideaway is the newest venue for celebrity party producers Jeffrey Best and Ken Jones of the best events, as well as titans of nightlife JT Torregiani, Sylvain Bitton and David Jarrett of Warwick.
Step into this hidden gem and you’ll feel like you’ve traveled back in time. Best and Jones designed the space to channel classic 1970s Baja California vibes, with an outdoor patio decorated with rustic tiles, wrought iron tables and a large fireplace. Inspired by old Hollywood glamour, the romantic interior features dim lighting, vintage movie posters and comfortable leather booths.
Meanwhile, the menu includes an eclectic mix of surf and traf cuisine, from pescado zarandeado (grilled branzino) with salsa verde, salsa roja and charred lemon to tomahawk steak served with roasted cipollini onions and chimichurri sauce. Chefs Alex Moreno and Viet Pham they included nostalgic references to Best’s childhood trips to Mexico. Managing Director Bart Clemmer he also did an amazing job of selecting and pairing fine wines with coastal mexican cuisine. “Here at The Hideaway, our goal is to satisfy the palates of all our guests from your first sip to your last bite,” he said.
